Questions
In the work world, what does it say about you if the non-believers around you see you as one of their own? If you have a career where if you were as outspoken as Jesus about Faith, you would loose your career, should you be in that career? What should be the approach to co-workers who know you have some commitment to at least some sort of religon, if they have made it clear they are not interested? ... or how about if they haven't made it clear and have actually left an opening for discussion? What direction do you take then in that discussion? Have you ever spoken out at work? If you do get on to "that topic" do you explain what your beleifs are as far as doctrine and rules you follow or do you speak of what you believe and that you believe it is the truth. What's the approach? and how can you tell you're doing a horrible job?

Have you read this downloadable book:

It's worth the trouble. Talks a lot about these kinds of questions.

I've read the first 8 chapters so far now. Very insightful. Seems to be a step by step breakdown of why the existing church is screwed up for the most part. There seems to be a lot of insight in to the tendancies of the human mind and it's urges to fit in to some sort of structure. Also Colsosen seems to have a good understanging of the humans predisposition to need or want to have control over what there is no control over. 3 chapters to go. I'll probably have to read this one over again though. I'm taking it all in pretty fast because it seems to have a lot of good points but since I'm reading through so quickly I'm forgetting a lot of what I've already read.
I sometimes wonder how you, and mostly Robin and Cherity, just don't take my constant badgering as an opening to try to convince me to be a Christian. Like how evangelical are you guys if you don't feel like talking to someone who is openly searching. This entry kind of speaks to how much of a struggle that would be. Deciding on an individual, daily basis what your responsibilities are surrounding others and their path to faith.
interesting.

My brother-in-law wrote about this in the post above. I really love what he has to say throughout his blog. (Sorry I had to break it in three to get it to fit in the comment. Not sure how to link long ones in comments..:))
If you've asked me why I believe and I haven't said anything, then I am truly sorry.
My last post, The sales pitch is somewhat in response to that.
